The pork is beautiful! We compared the shoulder side by side with the pork shoulder we get in from xxxxxx and your pork won hands down. We have finished the process of cutting the hogs down into manageable cuts and vacuum sealing them to maintain freshness. These hogs were high yield, very little excess bone or tissue waste. We are very pleased indeed!

Just wanted to let you know we are enjoying our pork.  So far we have tried a ham (absolutely wonderful Easter dinner!), ham steaks (I don’t think I made it right so next time I am going to do it differently!) and bacon.  It is incredible how much difference there is between what we purchased from you and what we had been buying in the store!  Even our kids who are 13 and 7 noticed a difference!!

Thanks again for taking the time to answer all my questions with our first purchase.  I am sure we will be purchasing from you again in the future.

 We raise our own corn and grind it ourselves with locally produced soybean meal to make up their diet. We don’t use any growth hormones or animal by-products in our feed rations. We do not use any routine antibiotics

 No gestation or farrowing crates are used on our farm. Our sows have their piglets in individual pens which are big enough for plenty of movement. The sows are let out twice a day while we clean the pens and check the babies. The piglets have an area where they can lay under a heat lamp to get a little extra warmth if needed.

 In the winter our pigs lie in a bed of straw which we produce from our winter wheat crop.

 In the summer they prefer to lie under a mist of cool water from the sprinkler system

 My brother Al and his wife Mary added beef to the operation in 1994. They are very attentive to the well being of each and every cow, as dad and I are of the pigs.

 The cows have access to pasture and hay all year long. We supplement with about 1-1.5 pound of grain each day. The grain and hay are all raised by ourselves. Like the pigs we grind and mix our own feed, no added hormones. No feedlots or confinement on our farms just a lot of wide open space.

 We have a great relationship with our packer which is located 11 miles from the farm. No long stressful rides for our animals.

*Prices are based on hanging weight of carcass

*All orders require a $125.00 deposit due when the order is placed and the remaining balance is due at the time of pick up.

*All meat is wrapped in paper and frozen.

*Pork by the whole and half is available most all year.

*Cost is $2.00 per pound hanging weight , purchaser is responable for processing charges to packer.

*Whole Approximately 200 lbs.

*Half Approximately 100 lbs.

*Approximate Amount of Meat in a Whole Hog: Pork Chops 30-40 lbs., Ground Pork/Pork Sausage 25-30 lbs., Bacon 15 lbs., Ham Products 35-40., Ribs 8-10 lbs., Roast Products 25-30 lbs., Miscellaneous 40-50 lbs.(Lard, Neck Bones, Feet etc)

Packaged cuts are available and ready to be put in your meat case.
